Two years is not bad.

This is a commitment, if you don't want to pay the dues work at K-Mart.

Find a back street theater and stay there and do things for them for free and don't leave when they throw you out.

Sweep their floors. Empty the trash.

Audition for EVERY PART and EVERY PLAY

Sweep their floors. Wash their floors.

Do windows.

Help the guy who makes the sets make them.

Audition for every part and every play.

After they've had enough of your infuriating tenacity they might give you ONE LINE TO SAY on stage

And then you sweep the floors after the show

And maybe they start paying you $100 a week

And maybe after a few years of this you start showing up at Equity auditions at the Civic Center

Maybe you get a real part in a major play for $400 a week (that minimum union scale).

Do that for a few years.
