I'm writing a story(500words) about my best friend moving, i don't know why she should move....i need details

i have to write a story about something that happend in the past, i made mine up and wrote that my bff was moving, but i cant think of a reason why shes moving, please help!

She could move cos her father has been offered a really good job opportunity. It's sad, they don't want to leave the neighbourhood but can't refuse the promotion.
Or if you prefer, one of the grandparents has died, leaving the other alone in a town with no relatives. It is the town they came from to be near you and they don't want to move her from the family home, so they are moving to go and care for her/him.
Or one of the grandparents has a serious disease like motor neurone disease and they need a carer. It has become quite advanced and they don't want to move the patient.
Or maybe she isn't moving that far away, just to a bigger/smaller house. If smaller you could show signs of them not being able to afford their place (subtle ones) and your story could be all about the actual move, helping her pack up her stuff etc and her sadness at leaving her home.
Or they could have a new baby and need more space.
Her Dad could have lost his job and they need a smaller place. Maybe they had a lottery win and are buying a bigger place.
Or maybe the developers bought their house to knock it down to make an airport.
Maybe her mother died and her Dad needs the help of his parents to help raise her and her three younger siblings?

Is it because of a business opportunity at the other end? People move for one of two reasons: something bad at the old place, or something good at the new. Figure out which it is, and write about that.

Her father has gottena new job as an executive producer and they have to move to hollywood asap,you are confused and slightly scared because you will miss her and it might be hard to make new friends.Use that but add in some imagination!

Make them move because of the reason my friend had to move... her brother committed suicide and they needed to move out of the house to escape the memories.

Is this fiction? If so..say one of her parents got a new job. That's usually the reason a family moves.

You won't get details about your friend here ... you will need to contact her to get those.
To get a basis for your story, try using the "Journalism W's" -- Who, what, when, where, why -- and the H - how.
I'm sure you didn't really want us to write this for you, as using our work would be plagiarism, and that, of course, is cheating.

cuz her dad got a new job in a city or They r buying a farm, bourght a pub, kicked out of their house so going to live with other relatives.
