you're tired of it, want people to move on, yet you post a question on the topic; which do you want? Some black kids went to the school and asked if it was OK for them to have a meeting in this area and they were given permission. Some white kids found out about it and hung nooses in the trees. So the white kids started the whole mess and now the black kids are being blamed because they retaliated, which was only natural. If the white kids hadn't hung the nooses in the first place none of this would ever have happened.

Why do we as americans have such a disconnect from right and wrong, what is happening in jena is wrong and we need to stand against wrong not act like it doesn't exist . Do you know a white teen pulled a gun on some of the black teens and the gun was taken from him and the prosecutor charged the black teens with robbery for taking a gun from someone who threatened them with it, thats why. Injustice posing as justice.

the Jena 6 is harsh.
what happened is these African American boy asked some white boy if he can sit under a tree and he said no and almost killed him.So in return the black kids bet this white boy almost to deaf but people think he was faking because he went to the high school dance the same day!.
so now are fighting, screaming, yelling, and making a big deal about it!

I find it so fascinating that every person who answered this question has no idea what really happened. All I'm going to say is that none of you have the right to have any opinion on this matter unless you've researched this incident through factual journalism. (and I am not talking about Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton)

good point. we should just move on. but you are being hypocritcal by discussing it. so let me widle it down. basically, some white kids put a nuse in a tree where a bunch of black kids hung out, and the black kids INTREPRETED it to be racisim. so they beat the kid up. which is assult. and they shoudl be put in juvie or jail for that. under the 1st amendment, the white kid could have called them a "bunch of ignorant dumb n******" to their face and he still couldn't have been arrested for it. but when you get physical is when the law can interviene.
