Legal in the sense you are of age yes. However it would get the teacher fired. There was a case in Ohio of a teacher having a relationship with an 18 year old student and he was fired, because it may be legal in the sense she was old enough, but still he was considered abusing his position. Wait until you have graduated and then there should be no problems.

No and yes. You are of legal age to have the option of sex with consenting partners. However there is a little known and seldom used law concerning the acts of sex with persons in positions of what is called authority. Teachers are considered to be authority where students are concerned. It is therefore against the law. This law has recently been applied with teacher student copulations, where by both teacher and pupil were incarcerated.

its legal but your teacher would almost definitely get fired if it was found out. I know the authority thing is kind of hot but just wait 'til your done with school. People will find out and that is probably the BEST gossip anyone could hear and itll be around your school in no time...its not worth it. If your teacher is a lot older than you though then they have problems beyond getting fired.

Yes! It is Legal to have sex with your teacher!
Normally, Teachers get arrested because they have sex with young students. But, since you are 18, You can have sex with her. You also don't have to worry about getting caught because it is totally legal.

It is legal by the law, but there will be concequences to your teacher for having an unprofessional relationship with a student. It is strictly against regulations from the Board of education but the teacher cannot be arrested and charged. If they are willing to sacrifice their career for a child, then I guess it is there decision.

Legal yes, it would totally cost the teacher their job and probably would never get hired as a teacher by anyone again.

we talked about this in class one day with my teacher and she made a really good argument she asked if a student was 18 and "they" had a relationship does that mean that it would be ok, her answer was they would not get in trouble with the law since their both legal adults but would be considerd very unprofeesional and would hopefully be against all teaches ethics!

No. A teacher is defined as a person in authority. No person in a position of authority can have sex with the person they have control over (i.e. a student). The teacher will be charged with statutory rape, child abuse, child molestation, etc. You are still jail bait.
