Between 3 and 5 months - their grasp development and hand eye coordination are improved at this age by introducing soft flexible rattles and "noisy" cuddle toys. There are a number of cuddle toys that make scrunchy paper noises, sing and even giggle that children of this age really seem to be entertained by. Also a good floor gym is excellent to introduce at about 3 months for visual stimulation and hand eye coordination. Good Luck!

Every baby is different, but usually, when they start grabbing and holding this they are more interested in toys.My daughter is 5 1/2 months old and while she's been holding things for a while, she is only just starting to play with things, so every baby's different, there's no set age for this type of thing.

all babies develop at different rates. there is no correct answer to this question, although there are guidelines your doctor can give you of when to worry if the baby isn't playing yet. most babies don't actually play until they are older, 6-7 months, but are very interested in exploring and looking at things they can grasp and hold onto. not much help i know I'm sorry. ask your pediatrician for their guidelines on what you should see on your babies development.
