To those of you who have participated, do you get free admission into the parks whenever you want?

Also, what should I do to make sure that I get accepted?

As a former International College Program cast member and current cast member I think I'm qualified to answer this. :)

But yes, as a cast member, your company ID gets you into the parks whenever you want (except for perhaps certain blackout dates like christmas and new years). Along with free admission into the parks you get a discount on merchandise and food in the parks/resorts too.

To be sure that you get accepted, just be yourself honestly. Be nice, curteous, enthusiastic, energetic, etc...everything that you would expect Disney wants out of their cast members keeping in mind that Disney is #1 in customer service. Relax, and be yourself. Disney is always looking for people. :)

I had a student who did this a couple of years ago, but I can't tell you about Park admission. Obviously, you can get in to work! They don't seem to be terribly picky, but make sure that your college will accept the credits for it. Get it in writing. We had an administrator who approved it orally, then after the student came back, said he couldn't give credit because the units were not accredited by the right organization. I spent months fighting for my student to get credit so that his entire semester did not go to waste.
