Why Is Pubic Hair a Different Color from the Hair on your Head?

I have golden-blond hair but my pubes are light brown. Why is this?

Check out the rest of your body. Different body parts has different types of hair.
There's the soft, yet strong stuff that grows on the top of your head.
There's the strong, yet short kind that makes up your eyebrows.
There's the soft fuzz that grows on your arms.
A slightly thicker (and sometimes darker) hair than your arms grows on your legs.
There's the faint fuzz that lines the lobe of your ear.
The hair around your genitals is dark, coarse, and strong to give a little extra padding and protection.
Notice that the stronger and coarser the hair is, the darker it is.

I also would go with Sunlight, perhaps skin pigmentation in the area may also have an affect as well ie: Legs, Arms & Chests. I doubt they are all the exact colors.

I would go with the sunlight thing. The sun bleaches the colour from the hair on your head. Maybe thats why there are no blond eskimos?

What color are your eyebrows?? I think that your pubes might be the same color.Maybe
