Im trying to figure out what it is so i dont get over charged

Depending on what format it is in, it is either 1000 or 1024 bytes and 1/1000 or 1/1024 of a megabyte. A song in itunes is around 3.5 megabytes (about 3500 kilobytes) and a full-size digital camera picture (not from a phone) is about 3.7 megabytes.

A kilobyte is 1024 bytes and 1024th of a mega byte. I hope this helps.
