Is it impossible to convert ml into grams because grams is a unit for weight and ml is a unit for volume?

For example; for Glucose i only know the molecular weight which is 180 g/mol-1 and the volume of solution in which the glucose is in 20ml. I also know in this 20ml solution there is 2.0% of glucose present.

Can i use this information to calculate the weight in grams of glucose or is that impossible??

1 mL is about 1 gram. Its not exact but it will get you close enough.

More accurately, you would have to multiply the specific gravity of the substance by the number of millilitres to get grams. Conversely you would have to divide the specific gravity of th substance by the number of grams to get millilitres.

The Density of water at STP is 1.00g/1.00 mL.
If you assume the 20.0 mL of glucose solution has a similar density, then you can say:
g(solution) = 20.0mL * 1.00g/1.00mL = 20.0g solution.
A 2.0% solution of glucose would then:
g(glucose) = 0.02 * 20.0g solution = 0.40g glucose

we do not need molecular weight.
from the percentage of glucose 2.0%
100 ml solution containes------- 2.0 g gluc.
1 ml--------------------------------------- x
so x = 0.002 g /ml
