my ipod nano 1st generation won't turn off

mine does this too. Theres not much you can do about it, unfortunately, as i have tried resetting it, syncing it, and restarting it, and nothing has worked. Sometimes if you drain the batery by leaving the screen light on, it will work the next time, but there's no guarantee. Just make sure that if you do get it off, put it on hold so it doesnt turn on again (it does that sometimes too)
Sorry, there's not much that you can do, but hope that helps a little.

usually, you just lock it.
(that the little switch on the bottom)
And after a few minutes it should go off.
But dont press any buttons or anything.
If this dont work, something is wrong with your ipod.
