Please welcome and make her feel at home among the hills of Bonny Scotland. Ms. Jilly has arrived to take over the running of McTealc Towers. The previous incumbent of the post is having a short break at the Michael Douglas Rehabilitaion Centre for Un-Becoming Addictions.

No doubt Ms. Jilly will be making known her plans for the staffing of the hotel. Gladys is refusing any other duties other than the kitchen and the four Mexican lads who assist her in the the wine celler.

What Ms. Jillys plans are for security now that McTealc has found full time employment as The Scottish Stud Muffin - in direct competition with The Italian Stallion - is yet to be decided.

Ms. JustMe is still behind the bar - something she is very used to since her small mis-understanding at the bank and the fact that she had a shotgun in her hand at the time of a withdrawal.
It is advisable to make known your drinks order before noon as supplies run low by then due to Ms JustMe starting to drink at 7am.

Shermyne & Grace: Forgive my poor manners - I have not been feeling myself of late - please be welcome to join in with the fictional fun that we have at McTealc Towers - a hotel in Bonny Scotland - staffed and people'd by the lost and the lonely and the jolly! Please find yourself a comfy chair in the foyer and watch as the most extraordinary parade of folk go by! Tis nothing but innocent fun and we wish no harm to anyone - just a chance to smile!

FELINES: You are just the Yank for the job! We have been waiting for someone of your poise, your style - your availability! Welcome - you are House Security! Watch not only the clients - keep your cats eyes on the new Manageress - she's Australian you know - and of course you will know who they all decend from - but dont mention convict ships - they are very touchy about that! Just watch from a distance!
Good luck - and avoid McTealc - he is on a mission to invade every nationality of female in the Hotel! He wont be afraid of no Yank!

LILABNER: Welcome aboard! The Wee Hoose is in your competant hands - warm them before you lift Hetti! Aye - Lady B is rolling those cigars on those svelte brown bare legs again! What the laddies see in her I have no idea! But be kind to her - she knows not what she does to the boys in kilts - but she has awoken something very untoward in McTealc!

Izzy, it looks as if the place is staffed with folks from the UK, Canada and Australia. Any Yanks?

I believe I can no longer plead poverty to avoid going to the misty moors. This I gotta see.

Will we be feasting on roast chicken? (I just had Applebee's Applewood Chicken, but it's being dropped from the menu. I wonder if Scotland has something comparable or better?)

since I just became a chooks farmer yesterday, may I apply for keeper of the hoose--I should fit right in---tell Gladys to be cookin' up some hagis and leave the chooks in the wee hoose behind alone. We should watch for the wee beasties to appear again at dusk, the moors can be treacherous this time of year. Is Ms Barbara rolling more cigars?

I would like to extend a warm welcome to the lovely Ms. Jilly!!

Are you in need of someone to tend the gardens? I would be glad to lend a hand in growing wonderful vegetables, herbs and flowers for Miss Gladys to use in her kitchen. I would also be available to help Justme replenish the supplies for the bar.

Yes the cigars are rolled, heather all in my hair. As for brown legs...LOL! I'm whiter than a fish belly,(the menopause makes me avoid the sun!). As for the Italian Stallion, well let's just say I prefer a good solid Clydesdale! Will ye be gone long? Take this box of cigars with ye lass,(and this bottle of Glenfiddich).I'll be by to visit you soon. Here now get me more heather!

Thank you one and all for your kind welcome to me as Manageress of McTealc Towers.

Firstly I will start as I mean to continue. Pay absolutely no heed to Mz Izzys job allocations. I AM Manageress and I say who gets what 'position' after all is that not part of my job???

I will confirm GLADYS appointment as chief cook but not bottle washer. Those 4 Mexican lads can get out of the wine cellar and get to WORK. Gladys don't take ANY nonsense from them. We do need to discuss the menu so please post a list of possible culinary delights at your earliest convenience!!!

As for the rest of you lot squabbling over much sort after employment at McTealc Towers you will just have to wait till later when I have surveyed my domain and seen what needs doing.

Rest assured there will be a place for all. Bribery, flattery and cajolery will all be considered marks in your favour. Lets see what you can offer EH!!!

Good to hearken to. the towers being well staffed. None too soon with the dragons building up their troves and the beasties romping in the heather.

Welcome Ms Jilly, The Hairy Gang are round the back getting their coats groomed in honour of yer arrival. But don't be fooled by their big smiley hairy faces, they are a formidable 3some and are hard as nails. But as long as you don't tidy their bones away you will be a friend.

I do welcome her and all the others who have come on board. I've been quite ill this weekend, but want to say as always, I'm here to serve those fine meals that will be dished up.
