Does anyone know who sang "The Battle" a folk song.?

It starts In the early dawn the Bishops men shiverd in the damp.

Neogriff is right inasmuch as Fairport Convention have covered this folk song but not Steeleye Span. The Strawbs also recorded it in 1969 (it appears on numerous Strawbs compilation CDs).

Fairport Convention did a rather good rendition of it, it is on a 2 disc set called The Battle, I'm guessing Steeleye Span have also done it at some point as it's a pretty well covered tune.
