I've bought a wired optical mouse and I've tried to install it on my laptop, but I keep getting a message saying 'device not recognised' and that it's malfunctioned. In the instruction booklet it says I should uninstall my previous mouse, but I'm using the touchpad mouse that's already on my laptop (if that makes sense). I'm a bit worried as to whether I should uninstall the touchpad one, cos if I do, how am I gonna be able to install the new one? And what if I wanna revert back to the touchpad one in the future...?

I rather have and use 4 on the spot mouse. one million in a Dell computer, one million in a HP internet e book, one million on a Dell laptop, and one million on my great laptop here that i'm utilising. I on no account put in the two of them. I only plug the mouse receiver right into a USB port and that they are waiting to go. they're Microsoft 3000 on the spot.
