I haven't been in any extra activities my freshman year, and i made really bad grades.
Im in 10th grade now, & im making all A's so far & plan on continuing this until i graduate so i can get into NYU.

What are my odds & how can i improve my changes?

My freshman grades were D's & C's & B's.

I don't know what you consider really bad, but the chances are pretty good that your freshman grades will have been swamped by good grades by the time you apply to college, and you still have a good shot. You need strong SAT scores, and you will also need to add in some activities, but you can probably use your freshman year experience in your college application essay to show how you handle problems, and it may benefit you.

you need to actually tell your grades to us. nyu is picky about whom they select. what classes do you plan on taking? you take classes that are TOO easy, and they won't like you too. how has your school been with getting NYU acceptances?
