insane with anger. Is that what happens when Fox News and reality conflict, and they choose to believe Fox News? Is that what happens when evolution and Pat Robertson conflict, and they choose to believe Pat Robertson?

American conservatism has grown into a cult.Everyone is out to get them and everything that's not slanted to the far right is liberally biased.
Science, truth and facts are all less important than the ideology. It's good to see more and more Americans waking up and realizing they can't take conservatism serious anymore until it rids itself of this cultist spirit.

Actually, I don't think they think about it as much as you do...

People like my grandma get their news from Fox and vote for people like Bush... you can't tell her anything.
She doesn't have the time to devote to "uncovering the truth".. she is old and she has a church food drive to work on... so if the news is lying to her then she really doesn't care to relearn everything. She's stuck.

It's really only young urban liberals that care whether or not they are being subjected to mind control and subliminal messages.

Midwestern "good christian" folks don't like to explore those ideas because there is safety in numbers and Fox tells them that they are on the "popular side" of the debate...

To wonder otherwise would be too tricky and they aren't very smart to begin with.

Have you ever noticed that conservatives rarely bother to make a comment about CNN or the New York Times, but that liberals are absolutely obsessed with FOX News? FOX really makes them nervous, doesn't it? Fantasizing that FOX is no longer the #1 news channel in America seems to encourage them somehow. Then they read about the latest popularity poll and they get depressed and angry again. What a sad position to be in. They've raised wishful thinking to an art form.

Did you know only about 1/3 of Americans consider themselves Conservative? But nearly 2/3 of Americans get their news from FoxNews? So who's living in a fantasy world?

Fantasy world?
Like thinking our previous policies of no effective response to terror attacks was a good policy? It is arguably this policy that culminated in the events of 9/11.
Like supporting our troops by stating that we have lost the war while our troops are on the front lines?
Like initiating resolutions which only serve to cut off our supply lines to the troops in Iraq?
You are right - there is definitely a fantasy element involved here - but it's not with the people who have finally decided that confronting an ideology of hatred and domination may well have its roots based in history - you know, "peace in our time?"

The good news is the neo-con movement is dying so fast and has become so absurd it appears to be shedding anyone with an iota of intelligence as it gains momentum on its downhill slide. It's getting to the point where the only die-hard neo-Cons left will be the adults who still believe in the Easter Bunny and have to be given plastic spoons when they eat so they don't poke themselves in the eye.

Conservatives are cultist? What a whacked out nut job you are! Conservatives stand for conserving and preserving this country and its moral culture. You know the country that gave spoiled brat loonies like yourself such a good life all you have to do with yours is talk trash about it on the internet all day. And what have you ever done to deserve this country? At least the illegal aliens risked their lives to get here. All you've ever done is whine while hidding under mommy's skirt

Fox news will be here for a long time, and I will enjoy watching it everyday. It would be my choice to watch it ... right?

Ya, and what's funny is that Liberals are what contributes to the great ratings of Faux news which they continuously congratulate themselves for. Liberals love watching their opposition make asses of themselves every day. Pass the popcorn.
