Hello, Banshee.
Beauty and Ugly are two sides of the same coin. We flip the coin and sometimes when it lands we can't even tell which side we're looking at...
Sadly, I know of an extreme example of something so hideously "ugly" yet it was something strived for in the name of ultimate "beauty". This occured over a period of about a thousand years in Chinese culture and ended (hopefully) as recently as the 20th century.

Again i repeat Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder so if ugliness to someone will be very beautiful to another and therefore it would be correct to say yes there is beauty in ugliness too all you need are the eyes and feelings of that beholder who finds beauty in ugliness .

It depends, physicall, yes, i do believe that everyone and everything is beautiful in their own special and unique ways, diversity is one of the things that makes the world so interesting. However inner beauty, well honesty i believe that every person in the world has a lot of inner beauty in them, except for those who seek out to hurt others...there is no beauty in evil, that is just pure cruelty and ugly to the bone.

very great question so I will answer with a story,
17 years ago I went to Washington state for the funeral of my grandmother when I was there I met the ugliest women I have ever seen in my life!! her face was twisted, she had worts, and bumps, she could barely walk as her feet were gnarled and twisted every step caused her pain but she would not give up the right to stand. within 30 minutes of knowing my great aunt I no longer could see anything past her smile and within 2 days she was the most beautiful woman I had ever met or been inspired by. She was 82 and still had 3 men chasing her from one side of the country to another and it did not surprise me to hear it.
there are people out there very rare but have such great hearts, lives and personalities that the inner beauty can not be denied.
she did nothing extraordinary nothing notable no great works but she was one of the most fascinating and great people I have ever met.

of courses it's just a matter if the person wants to look at the beauty of it or look just at the ugliness of it. beauty is in the eye of the beholder, it's whether they choose to see the beauty or not.

they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder but everything has a beautiful side to it if you just stop to look and listen and feel the beauty of creation that soaks through everything so that the concept of love may always be det free.
