No I just think its nuts, all the conspiracies have been disproven. In some ways it minimizes our war on terror because we go after the government instead of those who declared war on us years before 9-11.

According to the Government, yes. However, to those that really aren't sure, like me, and possibly you for asking...... This is a very serious topic, and there is a lot of material about the conspiracies, but you need to understand one thing; the Twin Towers should not have collapsed so quickly. Regardless of the whole "design flaw" theory, there is no real proof as to why the buildings fell within two hours of being hit, when the fires in the buildings were actually putting themselves out because there wasn't sufficient "Burn Material" in those buildings. Almost anyone who has looked closely at the footage of the towers falling, can see the evidence of pre-installed explosives. Now to point the finger at who put them there, the Terrorists or the Government, is another subject. Regardless the fact that the buildings were brought down on purpose killing the Men and Women that were saving lives, is the one thing that points to the government's hand in this case. I say this becasue of the lease holder of the Trade Center area, said that a smaller building was "Pulled" by the local authorites, which would prove that there were already explosives in the buildings before the attack. Makes you think. Do some research, and tons of interesting and logical material will reveal itself.

I have no idea what the "truth conspiracy" is, but since every other conspiracy attributed to 911 is at best an utter lie, and at worse impossible, the odds are that it is complete malarky too. Believing in something foolish does not make you pro-terrorist, it merely makes you foolish. Feel free to express your belief in the Easter Bunny if it makes you feel good. Just don't expect other people (who are intellligent and sane) to take you seriously.

No one can really be pro-terrorist and be in his or her right mind!!! Second, to what particular 911 conspiracy theory do you refer? There are quite a few!

I don't think so.

I think it's good for people to not just take the word of the government at face value. People who can only say "you're pro terrorist" probably have little ability to back up their defense of the U.S. Government. Not one living person can say that the government always acts for the good of the people because the fact is that regular old people make up the government, and people like to act for their own good, not for others'.

To answer the 911 conspiracy, ask yourself this:

~Who tried to blow up the WTC in 1993?
~Who blew up our embassies in Africa in the 1990s?
~Who blew up the U.S.S. Cole?

In the past......Who blew up over 200 US Marines in Beirut in the early 1980s?
Who held our hostages for 444 day in the late 70s?
Who has hijacked planes and demanded political changes for the last 40 years?
Who attacked and killed Israeli athletes in Munich?
Who suicide bombs buses, restaurants, schools in Israel?
Who terrorized the Holy Land for 400 years, causing the Christian Crusades to end the violence and take it back?

Are they all conspiracies? Or is there a consistent pattern here?

No one is pro-terrorist. At worse, some people are pro-equality, or pro-"look at the entire picture, not just 911"..(after all, it IS the US that adheres to the adage, "the truth, the _WHOLE_ truth, and nothing but the truth.")

Some few nuts may appear to be "pro"-terrorists, but since by definition they are incapable, they cannot be voluntarily pro-anything.

I don't know what the 'truth conspiracy' is, but I don't believe it's being 'pro terrorist' if you doubt the government's version of what happened on 09-11-01.

Lethargic citizens in the U.S.A. tend to accept the government's 'word' for everything, as does the conservative-biased media in this country. We seem to forget how many times our government has lied to us in the past:

* Speculation still abounds that FDR knew about Pearl Harbor in advance, but allowed soldiers to die, which led us directly into World War II;
* The government has never satisfactorily explained the incidents in Roswell, NM in 1947, especially to those who lived there and witnessed it all;
* The Warren Commission's sanitized version of the JFK assassination is still doubted by millions of Americans. Yet documents have been sealed for 75 years - until 2038 - when most of us who witnessed that event won't be here to challenge the report;
* Our government lied about U-2 spy planes being flown over the U.S.S.R. until Khrushchev shot one down and displayed it for all the world to see;
* The military lied about U.S. battleships being 'attacked' in the Gulf of Tonkin, which led us directly into the Vietnam War;
* Our military also lied about the effects of Agent Orange on Vietnam veterans;
* The White House lied about a third-rate burglary in the Watergate Hotel until two young reporters dug out the truth and forced the resignation of a U.S. President;
* The Reagan administration lied about an illicit 'arms-for-hostages' deal until it was exposed as the infamous Iran Contra scandal;
* The White House lied about 'weapons of mass destruction', which led us directly into an unconstitutional, illegal, obscene, insane, unjustified, immoral 'war' against another sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States.

Considering our government's record of such lack of integrity and credibility, American citizens have a right - and an obligation - to question our government's veracity, doubt our government's 'word', and remain skeptical.

If we follow like lemmings, it's only a matter of time until we wake up and find ourselves being ruled by a totalitarian dictator. -RKO- 10/14/07
