Oven shut off?

Our oven shut of while cooking, it made a POOF noise and went off and will not come back on.
What happened and how can we fix this?

If it's electric I say one of your burners burned out...

It mostly has fues that when out or oven as over heated which it needs to cool down then restart in 2 hours. Unplug and re-plug in 2 hours

Call the repair man. It sounds like a burner went out.

What Tayle said: Something burned out. Either you'll need a repairman or you need a new oven.
