The Apache chief Geranimo, and Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce are two Native Americans captured in the 1880's

To correct the spelling in the other answers it was GERONIMO of the Apache - the last renegade to be captured and Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce were both captured in the 1880's, also after his return from Canada, Sitting Bull of the Lakota Sioux was also captured in this time period. There were more but these three are the most famous.
