I think Nutt at Arkansas. Who else?

Callahan for sure. Then Nutt. Carr probably will retire, but he wont be fired. I don't think Bo ends up at nebraska, especially if Carr goes. He is an ex buckeye, and I think either he or LEs would get the michigan job, and if Les goes to michigan, LSU should/would give the head job to Pelini.

Toss up... either Lloyd Carr or Charlie Weis... Lloyd Carr can have a #2 team, but if he can't beat tressel, he's gone... he's already 4-1 in the series with Tressel... the fact that he couldn't beat the Smith/Ginn combo with his beloved Henne/Hart, a lot is riding on this year... without Smith/Ginn for Ohio State... and returning Henne/Hart as seniors, it's going to be a rough loss... and he hasn't won at home yet with Tressel's buckeyes...

Weis is in need of the basics... he's making the leap from NFL to NCAA... which requires him to work on things he's not accostomed to working on... the fundamentals... Defensive line is NOT getting down low enough... not making tackles on the thighs... rb's and qb's aren't taking care of the ball, protecting it... silly stuff like fumbling snaps.... just ALL THE BASICS he didn't have to deal with in the pro's.... and it's because these things are smoothed out in the NCAA... and it's ESSENTIAL to winning games here... there's no question he's got the coaching talent... but he also lacks in recruitment... Ty Willingham (now of Wash. State who's recent recruit of Jake Locker shows this) had recruited Brady Quinn among other leading players, but now Weis has been there for two years and these players are all leaving... so his team is starting to emerge and it's lack of cohesiveness and leadership is scary... ND needs to go back to the basics, and then they'll start winning...

I also agree w. the Arkansas/nutt comment... that's a team that's soooo close but just doesn't quite cut it and obviously needs just that extra inch... the problem is def. not with the talent...I don't know if it's neccessarily the Head Coach... but somewhere at the top definitely needs some shaking up.

And Callaghan is another... Nebraska needs some new leadership... restore itself.

First of all Jessi knows her ****. Weis is a great coach but it is true he lacks in his ability to recruit talent. He had a remarkable year in his first season but all he did was use the good players that were already there. What he did was no different then what happened with the Cowboys after Johnson left and with the Bucs after Dungy. These next two seasons will show what he has as a head coach. But in my opinion the coach in greater danger of losing his job is Coach Fran who is the head coach of my school's football team. Texas A&M he has had to many problems this season first the questionable play calling against Miami then within a week the surfacing of his illegal newsletter. Which has lead to the firing of one A&M athletic employee already. He has shown great skill in recruiting some of his recruits are good friends of mine but where he lacks is in the knowhow of when and where to use them. His predecessor Coach Solcum known how to create a defense and was the true creator of the Wrecking Crew which Aggies took so much pride in during the 90s but he lacked in recruitment skills or so it seemed there at the end of his stay at A&M. But the firing of him was just one of the many bad decisions made by A&M Athletics. True the 12th man love to win but I don't think firing a man who has won you 4 conference titles and two big 12 south division titles should have been giving a little more. When his successor has yet to reach that point losing two games last season both by a point while having the chance to beat both pass on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and goal when you have J-train to punch it in. Both of these teams went on the the Big 12 championship game. Which means Aggies had a very good chance of being Big 12 champs last season. So in my opinion Coach Fran has already been fired.

The answer to this question is now clear. Bill Callahan was brought to Nebraska to modernize their offense and return the Huskers to the most dominant team in college football. Even their AD said "we will not tolerate mediocrity". They are currently now below mediocre...they are BAD. I never thought I'd live to see the day when Oklahoma State and Missouri would not only beat the Huskers, but obliterate them. Even Ball State only lost by one in Lincoln. There is nothing Callahan can do at this point...he is gone unless they win out in convincing fashion, and even then, he will and should be fired. Bo Pelini...you are on the clock.

It has been said through the press that some 2015 football coaches are in danger of
being replaced. What is the scope regrding this? Moreover, this is usually what happens
at the end of the football season.

Francione (practically already lost it), Bill Callahan, Phillip Fulmer (Tenn), Lloyd Carr if Michigan doesn't rebound big time.

Charlie Weis is at ND to stay. he is bringing in top recruiting classes. Ty willingham trashed the recruiting. there was a recruiting gap. most of ND's talent are freshmen.
