What could I do to improve my image?

Question

Ok, yes I know I'm not exactly the first thing you want to see when you wake in the morning, but apart from that, I just want to know what I could do with myself.
I can contently say I never had a girl in my life, and really I am not self obsessed, but behind the computer screen I just want to know, what is deemed 'wrong' with my look.

I must say I'm suprised by the reaction to be honest.

Honestly to the person who said perhaps lose weight, I'm actually pretty thin, but I have big cheeks, which I think are attributed to puppy fat.

Good point about the confidence, however that was a formal occassion, and I did not really want to be there. If I was with my true friends I would have portayed a greater level of confidence.

I'm assuming you are the girl in the pic but was confused when you said I never had a girl in my life so then I thought maybe you were the guy. If you are the girl....

1. Skincare very important. Get an Aloe Vera Bar of soap for your face to heal and freshen it up a bit.

2. Clean-up your eyebrows

3. Darken that hair and get a bob cut with swept bangs try to get one length and not layers.

4. Never ever wear that eyeshadow under your eyes because your pigment under your eyes is dark. Wear shadow a mate peach, pink or beige color on lids and line with brown liner.

5. Always wear mascara and lipgloss even if you are sitting at home. Make this a point.

I don't think there's anything wrong with your look... you could try something different with your hair if you really want a change.
But mostly you sound timid (although relatively articulate), and even in the picture, you don't look confident.
Other than that, you're pretty cute.

Honestly,there is nothing wrong with your look dear, you just look perfect to me. You should thankful for what you are. Why worry about what others may say about your look. It is the inner part of a person that counts most, not their outer look.
If you respect your body nourish them with love....care for your body no matter how it looks. present yourself well because it is how you dress up your body that will earn you the respect from many.

I think you're a fine looking lad, it may just be that you're too timid for some girls. The right girl will come and sweep you off your feet if you're shy/insecure.

I think you should try to grow your hair out like an indie kid.
