Press the other buttons.
Call a phone-sex hotline.
Pretend, and pick up your cell phone, press the speed dial number and the call button. Wait a few seconds, then say "Yeah I'm 3 floors away." pretend there's a pause on the line.. then look at the person next to you. "Yeah he's on the elevator..... Oh.. Uh (shocked tone in voice).. With what?... Yes sir.. Will do (grim look on face)..."
Then when you get off the elevator, hoping it's at the same time or before him/her, give him/her this look like 'I'll be seeing you soon'.

Since I'm a little claustrophobic, I try not to move around too much. Moving around a lot in a cramped elevator can really make you feel like panicking sometimes. Note, this doesn't only apply to claustrophobic people. So, I recommend that you try to stand still as much as you can, even if the people surrounding you are pushing you.

I think that vomiting in a crowded elevator would be NASTY~where does anyone have to run too?? You are sure to be sprayed, and what if that person decided to try and cover their mouth?? Then it comes shooting out from all angles !!

Try not to get too far in the back if I'm only going up or down a few floors, then w/have to pry myself thru scads of people to make it out the door before it closes.
