Do you realize every community has such spooky stories that have been passed from generation to generation? It's nothing but ghost stories designed specifically to spook young, impressionable people like you who don't yet have a full understanding of how the world works.

RE:

me and my friends went there the other night and it was rather creepy....i know the usual stuff about the raccoon and not to go in the left woods(which we did)....i want to know about the witches, this black car that chases people out(guy w/ a messed up face), and the black cat...or anything else...

The woods are haunted. In 1994, 3 kids murdered a guy out there. A woman paid 3 local teens to murder her husband out there. All four of the perps are still doing time. Place had problems before the murders, as well. A lot of cults and black magick cooks like doing rituals out there. Place has a lot of spiritual energy. Ur dumb for playing around out in the woods: you can make a lot of bad things happen later in ur life but it's ur choice.

i live about a half hour away from jefferson, and that road in right out of the town helenville, but yeah i went there for the first time and NOTHING happened, it was really lame. then about a week later my friend wanted to go, so she brought another one along, and this girl has been there like 5 times, and she told me stuff that happened. so i took my camera and on the way there it was still light and i took pictures out the window, and they turned out good. we turned on the road and i took the picture when we did, it showed up pitch black except for the signs, so i took another and it was the same result. i can even show you if you want. as we got farther down i tried taking another, but my camera wouldnt focus and when i pushed the button down it wouldnt take the picture at all, it wouldnt even beep or flash, and it told me it was ready too. when we went through the wooded part it was still dusk out and nothing happened there. as we cleared the woods my friend told me to look out the rear view mirror, so i looked out the passenger side one, and the forest was PITCH BLACK you couldnt see anything. then we got farther down, and the road raps around kinda like a circle i guess. we turned and we heard this loud blood curteling scream and we couldnt place where it came from, it sounded like it was in our heads, at this point we were freaking out. we could still hear it as we drove on but it was much more quiet. when we were about to get off the road, we heard the loudest scream you could imagine. the hair on my neck stood up and i felt like i was gonna throw up. we all agreed that we had this uneasy feeling and it felt like we where getting an evil look, almost like a stare down or something, we felt ashamed or kinda depressed, i cant really explain the feeling. it was so bad that we even cried alittle, i dont know im going back there, it was cool.

Sounds like your local legend.Everyone has those in every town.Where I am from in West Virginia.we have several. If you go to a certain cemetery a young girl will chase you across a bridge. There's a large rock Cliff, people have claimed to have seen a woman in white fall off it,even my father claimed to have seen this. There's also a place they call eagle rock it a hunting place with a large cave people have claimed to have seen a dog with a human face.
When I was young we did the Bloody Mary thing.Instead of saying Bloody Mary we would say Mary Ross,we would look in the mirror and say 3 times Mary Ross come forth Mary Ross we believe in you.Nothing happened, but it was fun.
(Many blessings)
