Enough is enough. Gagne has not helped at all since his acquisition and I, for one, am sick of seeing him blow games. I don't really want Francona fired but, I cannot stand to see Gagne come out of the bullpen.

Depends on the situation. If the Sox have that Rangersesque 30-3 lead on the Indians in what for Boston is a clinch game, and there's two outs in the ninth, yes, I think Tito can risk Gagne finishing out the game.

But anything critical? Good grief No! Tito!

I think Tito assumed the game would have been over by the time he was going to have to use Gagne. He used Paps in the 8th and 9th thinking we would get at least 1 run in the bottom of one of those innings. Gagne, Lopez, and Lester were the only ones left and they all sucked last night so it didnt make much of a difference anyways. I think last night was the only scenario besides being up by 5 runs in which Gagne is going to be used in the playoffs.

My God Gagne is torture. Hopefully Francona has learned his lesson though this time. If he does it again and Gange falls apart again, than I think it might be time to if not get rid of Terry to scare him a little with the threat. My God what was he thinking?

I Dont think Terry Francona had a choice he already used his best relievers like Timlin and okajima and Papelbon he had no choice he had to use Gagne

You have to understand! and this happened to us Yankees with (Farnsworthless) When you sign a relief pitcher and pay them all that money! what is the team supposed to do? Pay him to sit? You can't do that! Francona didn't have a choice,he can't over use his other relivers! Not when theres 5 games left. How ever! Don't expect Gayne to be in anymore games! Franccona is gonna have to go with what he has!

No Way! Thats not a good enough reason to fire Tito especially if the Red sox get into the World Series.

I don't think he would be fired. After all it was his boss Theo Epstein that traded three minor league players to get him.Besides if the game gets to the point it did last night ,they would have no choice but to use him.The way to avoid that is for our starters to go deeper into the game

In all fairness when the deal was done he wasn't expected to be this bad. I'm sure if the sox knew this ahead of time they wouldn't have gotten him.
