You're not missing anything Kamran except behaving like tit on a Friday night and a fuzzy head on Saturday morning.
.......now if you asked the same question about tea, I would panic.

I dont drink . Im not saying i never have a drink but it is very rare. When I was younger I drank. I go out on works nights out and people cant believe I havent had a drink as Im a bit mad lol and know how to enjoy myself and have a good time without the alcohol.
If I never have any again then I wouldnt miss it. The odd glass of red wine every couple of months is fine by me but I can leave it also

I usually have a drink on a Friday or Saturday night...midweek is a no no coz I drive 60 miles to work and I daren't risk my licence by being over the limit at 7am... so I guess about 6 days!

People who are not physically addicted can live their whole lives without alcohol. Most people who are addicted will be okay after a very uncomfortable withdrawal period. Some people, however, who have long-term, severe alcohol dependence can die if they suddenly stop without medical treatment. Withdrawal seizures, delirium tremens and severe autonomic hyperactivity can be fatal.

I spent three years without drinking alcohol quite happily - until I realised it was actually costing me more buying soft drinks when out at the pub etc.,
As for your missing out - your not. Personally I hate having a hangover. I had enough of those in my misspent youth.

I managed 14 years.
I then stopped for 8 months when I was pregnant (I never knew for the first couple or months).

A lot longer than with it - survival requires among other things nutrients and alcohol contains precisely none.

About 18 months, even then it's not a big deal. I always end up drinking non-alcoholic drinks.
