I have had a problem with vaginal thrush for years now and I asked 3 different doctors if it was possible I could have diabetes, but they all said it wasn't likely and that I didn't need a test. But I'm beginning to wonder really, so just wondering if any other ladies have had the test purely from having this problem, and if so, what was the result? I have tried everything else and it is doing my head in.

Yes, chronic yeast infection can be a symptom of Diabetes (not just Type 2). Because the other doctors don't feel you need the test I would recommend getting another opinion and preferably from someone that does not share the same office of the doctors you have already seen.

I wouldn't put that high on the list. There are other things you can do to help your thrush. Avoid anything that has yeast in it.
There are certain things that will aggravate your thrush:
Bread leavened with yeast
Beer and wine
mushrooms
If you remove these from the diet, your symptoms will diminish because you are not feeding the Candida.
If you want to find out more about this, have a look at the book "The Yeast Connection" by Dr. William Crooks.
