So now we find out that we have to drive traffic to the sites ourselves doing our own marketing even though we have all these great CD"s on how to market there's nothing that doesn't require more money, help?

Although I don't consider this a scam per say, I do think its very misleading as to the work and/or effort involved. THey need to make sure that people know that they going to do their OWN marketing prior to purchase.

I dug through the written material and I will be listening to a webinar on Wed. on how they will "walk me through" the entire process great, if its just more testimonials on how great it is (which is most of the materials on their CD's) It'll be amoney back issue.
Thank you for all the great info. guys I will probably leave best answer up to voting.

Although the other 2 posters feel this is a scam, I would like at it as an opportunity. The problem is that you never got any support from the company on how to go about driving traffic to your site and thus you are not making any money. There are many free and low cost ways to drive traffic to your site. Google Adwords is a pay per click program in which you control your budget. Forum postings and joining and posting to ezines are a couple of other ways.

Best of luck,
Robert
So you think you have a niche product...now what?

Unfortunately, most of these businesses do not work because you're running some kind of business, they work because you get other people to buy the same thing you bought. You now have two choices, learn all you can about internet marketing and advertising or call it a learning experience.
I would definitely see about getting your money back tho, if you're not happy with the product.

A great, and relatively cost-free, way to promte any website is to a) create compelling content for your site (and continue to create it) and b) build incoming links to your site (and continue to build incoming links).

You don't have to write the content yourself (visit ezinearticles.com for good-quality articles) but it's best if you do so.

And you're also best to research the type of content required using Wordtracker.com (there is a free trial)

And how to create compelling content is explained, for free, in Dr Ken Evoy's Make Your Words PREsell (mycps).

So, create content and build incoming links and keep on doing this forever... :-)
