I searched for the answer to that question every wakening moment of my tortured little life for years. I finally found that the realization of my own insignificance is the key to true happiness.
Ecclesiastes 1:9 (New International Version)
What has been will be again,
what has been done will be done again;
there is nothing new under the sun.
So worrying or being overly concerned about anything is a waste of my useless time. Finding the ability to have peace of mind is my key.

Keep smiling, and be grateful to everything and everyone!. Happiness is only a state of mind. Pray to God and be contented with what you can afford to have. Smile. Smile. Smile. Smile, and everyone will smile on you. A pleasant smile to receive will uplift your being and in return will make you happy.

Being alone. Not having to see so many faces. To go with the current, rather than against it.
