This is sort of a joke, but check this pic out. It's for the Purina Tender T Bonz product:

I couldn't find a bigger picture, but here it is. It's sort of like one of those things that's supposed to be comical, but ends up having some vaguely sinister side to it; like clowns.

No. I'm not seeing a sinister side. A cheesy chummy side yes.

I fail to see the issue here. Purina can ban whatever it wants from its corporate endeavors. I live where Purina is heaquartered, and they have put more into rescues in the area than 10x any other pet food brand I know of. They are sponsoring adoption events, donating food to shelters, advertising for different rescue agencies, and hosting events for the furtherance of pet welfare in the area. I know it's cool to hate Purina, but in the real world, they do a lot of good for real animals and do in fact make a couple of decent lines of pet food. I have a 16 year old cat who's still going strong and has been fed nothing but cat chow her entire life. My labrador excels on ProPlan where he has struggled on other brands such as TOTW, California naturals and Merrick naturals. You can't go to an animal event in st. louis without seeing purina giving somehing back to the community, so if they want to market their food while they're doing it, I have no problem with that. Further, they treat their employees well (fair pay, good benefits) and have worked to keep from layoffs in a difficult economy. Someday I'd love to be able to feed raw- until then, I'll continue feeding purina. Add: No, people aren't going to get sick from raw fed dogs, that's ridiculous. Maybe the person feeding it, if you don't bleach the surfaces of raw chicken, but not from the dog. If Purina and Delta want to strike a deal though, why is that a problem? That's how business works.

Sorry, but it's in need of more imagination,it lacks the attention it needs to get when people see it in stores to buy for their pets.
