I agree that not all the people on Answers who say they're vampires really are. However, there are quite a few who actually are vampires who aren't afraid to admit it. Most of the time, you can easily tell who's who.
They're not the vampires of myth, nor would any of them say they are. They're psychic vampires, people who take energy from others because, for different reasons, they can't make enough of their own. Unawakened psy-vamps are those people with whom you feel 'drained' after being around them for a while. Most awakened psy-vamps have donors they take energy from and don't feed off the generall populace.
However, this is one of those things that is impossible to prove over the internet. I could tell you what I believe and why, but that isn't proof; that's just me telling you what I think. So, either you're an open person or have experienced something like this and know that it's possible, or you're a skeptic and don't believe it.
Hopefully, I've at least given you he knowledge to let you open your eyes when you do meet a psy-vamp, unawakened or no, because someday, you probably will. Whether you believe me now is all up to you; I really just want to get the information out there so that maybe I can help someone who is lost and needs to know that the're not alone.

You know, I'm sorry, but I'm just not buying the "psi-vampire" thing either. "Oh, we're not the blood-sucking kind of vampire; we just feed off of other people's energy."
Riiiight.
That must be energy as in calories, right? What other kind of energy would there be for a vampire to drain? I mean, energy's energy, right?
All right, I'd like to go to some sort of psy-vampire convention...with all that energy-draining I'd undergo, I'd have to burn a lot more calories...it would be the ultimate diet! Just think of the weight you could loose! Somebody really ought to be marketing this...

I somewhat agree with you. Yes, the people on here who are claiming that they are vampires are annoying.
But I disagree on the "They are not real" part. I believe in vampires.
It's just like what that girl up there said about Christians. We believe in God, yet there's no scientifically proven fact that he exists. We just know that he does. Same with vampires.

Why don't you put the word "Christian" in that statement instead of "Vampires"? Or any other spiritual belief word for that matter. I am a Witch and a Wiccan. Do I have to prove it to you in order to be able to say it? Grow up and accept the fact that others have the right to thier beliefs. Just as you do to not believe in what they do. If some one wants to claim they are a vampire then leave them be. They know what they are. If you dont belive them then that is your problem and you should take it up with them.
