We do not know for sure, but the possiblity shall be good. What surity do we have that only this planet is inhabited? Surely, there also could be other planets some where in this unknown infinity, with iintelligent life forms, perhaps many? It is a strong possiblity, but it could be different from us, or may not be different at all. The possibility can not be ruled out.
Indian mythlogy speaks about sky travelling people like Gandharvas. They look like human, but are more powerful than us, they are great singers! They also marry us!

giving me the benefit of the doubt, i would say that the immense quantities of planets and size of the the universe almost guarantees the past, present, or future existence of life on another planet. Human life, however is quite doubtful given the variety of creatures on Earth and scaling that to the entire universe. In other words life probably exists, but not exactly in the form of a human.

No.
Human beings time here on the planet we've dubbed, Earth, is less than a blink of an eye in the scope of all time and space. The possibility that another human race is living at the same time that we are is about as likely that somebody in your state is having the same exact thought going through your head.

As an occultist it is my information that all planets are inhabited with life and at different levels of vibration which may or may not be in the range of our eyesight as some of our space brothers dwell on the higher etheric planes of substance. The universe has always been teaming with life at all levels of vibration and have always been with us and assisting in our evolution within the law of karma.

"human" is a very ambiguous term. Does human mean intellegent, compassionate, walking upright on two legs, or just anything we can relate to easily. I suppose there might be some entity that has some human qualities.

The chances of 'human' life seem slim, but life nonethless. Most likely they'll be looking like bugs is my guess....
