Marriage has been invented by a cunning and clever people, mathematicians. In marriage, there is no peak, no valley. You simply move on plain ground. Marriage is security, not love. Marriage is an arithmetic, it is not romance. It has been invented by a cunning people. They simply stop all possibilities of dangerous situations, insecurities. Marriage is always an okay affair: never at the peak where you can dance, never at the valley where you will weep. But a person who has not known dance, who has not known weeping, is simply not alive.

But why did every society around the world decide in favor of it? It can't be just coincidence. They decided to unburden the individual of turmoil, tension, anxiety, anguish -- to protect the family, the children, their future. Millions of people have followed that, and for thousands of years nobody has raised a question. Nobody has even worked out in depth why marriage is needed at all.

It is needed because love alone won't do. Today it is there; it is a guest. Yes, when it is there it is too much there, overflowingly there. But just the same, when it goes it goes completely -- as if it has never been there. It comes with great ado, fills your whole being, gives you the feeling that all is achieved. But when it goes, it slips away so silently that it does not make even a sound that it is going; you don't hear even the footsteps when it is has gone. You come to know only when it is no longer there. And the same way when it goes: you feel all is lost.

When human feels that he is all alone in this cruel world and needs some one whom is caring to him, always around him and should cover his guilties and reliable too to share his every thing i.e. thaughts, time, mental love and physical love too.

The system of marrage is developed by society to declare that those two persons are promissing each other above said aspects and will live together for rest of there life.

Why human accepts it because he realises that he is all alone and should have some one whom is equally responsible towards society and cover him, also should understand and furgive him for any mistake.

Marriage is the first step towards 'refinement'.
It is a self-imposed restriction , aimed towards achieving a greater purpose other than the temporary pleasure, procreation, etc.
We could compare it with those traffic rules (for easier grasp of its significance)... The need for traffic rules arose when there was more of criss-cross movements, rush, jostle, stampede, and the resultant jam. The traffic rules 'appear' to impose some restriction on our movement, but in truth, it affords the 'freedom to LIVE' moving out of the route 'safely'.
Similarly, marriage ensures better hygiene, physiological balance, security for spouses, better commitment towards each other for life-long term, harmonious relation with different group (family, tribe, clan , etc), spread of 'seamlessly interwoven' network of families to form a stronger society.

The question should have been, why there is the institution of marriages in societies.

In a word, it is for the conflictless co existence of all.

People marry since it is a natural law to have a mate. With civilisation, the need of permanent mate became inevitable, also to account for children.

Although your answer is lacking some grammer, I will try to answer it for real. =P I'n many cultures around the world, wedding ceremonies are seen as a milestone in our daily lives. It is biologically human to be attracted to another human. Therefore a celebration called a marriage is used to bond and form a family.

Good question! People marry because its a way of showing they're love its a way of telling everyone in the world that you want to spend the rest of your life with this person! In sickness and in health you will always love this person and they you even when times are rough you can count on this person and you do it before GOD its a unity, a marriage and it feels good to both parties to be able to have someone you can rely on.

To get in to more problems, miseries, headaches, tortures, etc. This is the reason why people get married knowing pretty well the pros and cons.I am not joking but very serious.Pleasures that you may be getting are trivial compared to the pressures that you may be getting.
