i do not have an s -video slot, but i DO have a VGA output...

is there some kind of cord i can use to attatch to the VGA output to connect to the tv?

i know theres this :

It'll be heaven if you have a s-video in on your tv, for audio, just get a 3.5mm to rca cable. Connect one end to your laptop, and the other to ur tv and...... Voila :)

If not, you have to get a adaptor that doesn't come cheap, whereby you have to connect your laptop's vga out to it, then using rca cable to connect to ur tv.

If your tv has a vga in, then u'll only need the 3.5 mm to rca cable....

Giving us pictures without the specs is pretty useless. The connectors look nice, but depend heavily on the flexibility of your TV and its connectors. TV's are pretty rigid in their format being tied to 60/50 Hz power line. Computers have more detail.
