I don't care either way but I do know that both my dogs are scared sh**tless every chinese wedding, november the fifth and other celebrations like new year. They hate them.
Cats, horses and other animals probably feel the same!
Fireworks were originally used as weapons of war and bombs, rockets were mobile bombs and used to scare or set fire to the enemy. Thats why kids light up so well these days.
Added to that about five years ago the regulations in the EU changed and you can now legally import "fireworks that are "ten or twenty" time more powerful than the ones we had as kids in the sixties.
The banger we had then were not so strong, and even they could take an eye out or a hand off-- today these are bigger , stronger and more lethal. Beware.
On balance they should only be used one night a year - not the three months before and after guy Fawkes!

I love them! My dad always used to go nuts when buying them! He would spend over $500 all on fireworks <3

I DO- when i was a kid- i wanted to do fireworks shows proffesionally- but i didnt i am a teacher instead!

I hate fireworks. I don't like loud noises. When there are fireworks on tv I watch them on mute.

I love them, but the downside is that irresponsible retailers sell them to youngsters. As a consequence we get the inevitable yearly serious injury list. Those retailers should be jailed-nothing less my darling!!!xx

ohh i love fire works they are so colorful...see i was born on the forth of July and my mom named me after the fireworks color AMBER
