I have a new online friend who makes my P&S hours more fun but she's missing in action for days now.

In life we have had certain ways of knowing people on the phone those we have to talk to on work that we never see their faces because we only talk to them on a phone to get info. but what if we really wanted to get close could they be called a friend will they always be a stranger?> You seem to have a big problem in wondering if it is possible to know someone online and be friends. U have glitch in your mind that those who you know in person are all the ways you can get to know someone well enough to know them. In years gone by people have had penpals all around the world and they sometimes met and were friends. would you receive a penpal or would you still say how can I be friends with someone that does not live next door to me. I have had good friends offline turn on me and decide they did not want to be nice to me anymore. I saw them daily for 24 yrs yet they in a second decided they were against me. It does not mean people on the net cannot be real friends and really valuble. People met on a short wave radio in the 30's and they felt they were friends. I say step out and do not say no to internet friends and be kind and be a friend. yes I have made many nice friends online. Maybe you will find some too! internet is just another place to find friends

I have one of mine that has been missing in action for almost 2 weeks now, she was always so much fun, I have tried to reach to no avail!! When it's a contact that I am friends with it bothers me when they come up missing!! If it wasn't for the fun I have with my P&S friends I probably wouldn't be so addicted to it!!

I haven't been in Y!A that long, but yes I would if I lost contact with someone like you. And yes you have brought back something that I have been missing in my life for a long time now. But you already know that.

if i didn't hear from any of my contacts in a while i would worry and look around or even post question to help find them...I LOVE MY CONTACTS....i have the coolest group of people on there and they are really nice to communicate with..(Rico's dead!!)

i'm only on here at work and my contacts definately make the day go by so much faster!!!
