I am just wondering because a lot of the questions I ask seem to get answers from later years than what I am usually looking for, like in the 50's?

So far, other than Goldwing and that 15 year old, the people I am asking about are hiding their ages? Shade of Harriet Nelson must be watching!

60 is really is not old anymore. Consider the rockers from the 60's that are still rocking today. Most are well into their 60's. I think old begins in the mind but if you must put an age on it perhaps 75+ would be more senior than 60. My mom hit 70 this year and is just now beginning to show it. Live well.

I am 64 and not embarrassed in the least to say so.I usually bounce back and forth to hobbies or gardening sites . I used to frequent the health site as I thought I could offer something having been in nursing but I got so frustrated with people having classic symptoms of a heart attack and asking for advice instead of getting to a hospital.

If AARP is chasing you to sign up, then you're a Senior. Its that 50 year mark that sets you up to be a senior I guess. Myself, I wonder if its not really closer to 62. But if I go by AARP then I must be a senior. I'm 57
I wonder if AARP didn't push the age limit to 50 in order to get more people to sign up. I'll still join when I'm 62.

66 and going strong. IT isn't that I wasn't there, it is a case of really not remembering small details...I was so busy during that time of my life, and TV, etc. was a very small part of my life. Music was a big thing to me, for I went to every sock hop, the teen center, etc. But TV was not somthing I enjoyed all that much. Our only source for movies were the drive ins, and they usually showed most movies, changing twice a week. WE saw most movies..well, let me rephrase that...we were there at the movies....I won't go into detail about what we were watching, depended upon who we went with, I guess. Goldwing.

True seniors are at least 60 years young, but organizations like the AARP are so greedy and capitalistic that they actually consider 55 as the minimum for its potential members. I am not a member and I am 69.

Well, I am not a senior, but I'm sure that I will be someday! I will be 60 in 14 years. I was 29 for many, many years but since finding this site I've found a new perspective on age. Thanks to all who put up with me!

In the mornings I'm 30 and late afternoon I'm 40.Week nights I'm 45 and Friday night I'm 24.
I work 7 days a week and in my job I'm 36 but in January I'm 61.
Age is just a number, sometimes I'm a low one and sometimes a high one but as long as my numbers not up I'm happy!
