Halloween (Allhallows Even) was observed by some churches with religious services. However, most persons regarded it as a secular festival. In its strictly religious aspect, it is known as the vigil of Hallowmas or All Saints' Day, observed on November 1 by the Roman Catholic and Anglican churches.

Halloween is not a good thing, it was never meant to be a good thing.
We Americans turned it into a good thing because of the money it brings into the stores.
But other countries followed us, even countries that knew what it meant.

i really dont care but i had to do a paper on it last week. It started with people called the Celtics. They would dance around the fire every beginning of fall and dress up in costumes to please the god of death because they knew that fall brought death. They also thought that on those nights the dead would roam the streets so they set out bags of treats and gifts for them to take. yep...thats it!
