I Agree .. because ...
I worked VERY HARD all my life .. first as a Long Term Single ... then in that short disaster of a marriage (continued to work and brought home the BIGGEST paycheck), then through the violent divorce (the Ex is abusive, violent, and a true sociopath ... he DID abuse the children too and was convicted of it) ... then as a Long Term Single Parent.
NOW .. as an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree (who survived HER teenage children (selfish, me-first, nasty attitude and absolutely without concern for the ONLY parent who PROVIDED ALL Their Needs) ... someone who has given up caring for herself to CARE for OTHERS (who did not deserve that care) ...
I can say that I DEFINITELY Want someONE who will LOVE me for ME ...
AND ... NOT my Income, NOT the Home that I own (or the Car or the Property), NOT for the Things that I buy ...
Just LOVE me for ME -- unconditionally.
THAT is what I want most in life at this point of my life (and I am an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree).
MY purpose has changed .. I DID care for and provide for my family (meaning my children/that louse of an ex) .. now ... I would LIKE to have someone just for me.

I want to be creatively fulfilled to my full potential and have a life of adventure to look back on. LIke the person above i am an actor, but don't want to become famous, just want to do really good work.
Its my biggest desire, i've given up the choice to have children in pursuit of it and it feels like the right road for me.
what i'm working towards is my purpose.
