"The President, Vice President and all Civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors." -Article II Section IV of the U.S. Constitution.

It would take a great leap to impeach a president based on the mismanaging of a war as you would have to explain how it suffices for grounds of impeachment.

Scooter is correct. You are also making a great leap of ignorance when you say that Bush's generals are all hand picked. It's clear that you know little to nothing about command, control and leadership, the U.S. military and its promotions.
The "General" in question, was fired from his position and so, with the elections coming, has made it a point to bad mouth the man who fired him. The truth is, as with all commands, his was a political appointment. He failed at his mission and was justly removed.
The general in so making this statement has done little more than drop trou, bend over and show the whole world his ars.

You can`t blame Pres Bush after all he put the generals in place to do a job and if they messed it up then it`s on them not Pres Bush, put it this way if I put someone in charge of fixing something for me knowing they say they can do it but they screw it up then it is on them for screwing up not me .
If you mess up a job you can`t blame the person that hired you but can only blame yourself.
