Hi,
Well, a description of a graph without doing the graph (If there’s a way to do a graph on this word processor, I haven’t found it.) may be a little tedious to follow, but I’ll try to make it as clear as possible.
1) First you want to change the inequalities to equalities and plot them as graphs on the same axes.
Let’s do x-y<3
Change to x-y=3
_x__|__y___
..0…|…-3
..1…| …-2
..2…|…-1

x+2y >=6
Change to x+2y =6

_x__|__y___
..0…|…3
..2…| …2
..4…|….1

Now, plot these on graph paper using solid lines. Dashed lines indicate > or < only. Solid indicates >=, or <=.

Now, test each point with the coordinates (0, 0). If the inequality is true, shade on that side, if false, on the other side.
x-y <=3
0-0<=3 True.. Shade on the side that of the line that includes the point (0,0). You might shade for one of the graphs with vertical lines and the other horizontal lines.
X+2y>=6
0+2(0)>=6 False, so shade on the side of that graph that does not include the point (0,0).

The region that includes shading from both regions is the region of solution. That region will look like a broad “v,” with the tip at about (4,1).

Hope this helps.

you're able to graph the equation. to choose the strains, first set y=0. locate x. then set x=0. locate y. so for the 1st line, you have (3,0) and (0,a million.5). the 2nd line has (3,0) and (0,-2). placed factors on those coordinates on a graph and create a line between the two factors. The strains are stable because of the fact this is a under or equivalent to situation. next, color below the line because of the fact this is under. this is appropriate to do this with 2 diverse hues, one for each line. The area the place the colors meet is the place x+2y=<3 and 2x-3y=<6.
