No, because they don't.
For the most part, assets are split in half. And if there are children, they have to be looked after.
If the woman stayed home with children, is she entitled to nothing because she didn't have "a real job"?
In some other countries, women and children are left in poverty. I dunno if third world men are laughing. I wouldn't think poverty if funny.
BTW, people who get married and keep certain assets separate from the beginning can keep them. You can also get a pre-nup.

as long as there is what is called "Woman Chapter" in the legal system, which is widely applicable to all UK ruled before countries....
so far, if you do not wish to "lost" all you have, go and try married in China, there is no such law there.....
