His actions seem to indicate he is gay, but he votes against gay rights. He seems confused.
I don't care if he's gay, but his actions don't match his rhetoric.

I don't care if he's gay.
He was charged with a crime, instead of fighting it, he decided to plead guilty, hoping it would not come to light.
By pleading guilty, he became a convicted criminal. Not a dangerous criminal, but a criminal just the same.
The question should be, Is this the type of person the people of Idaho want representing them in Washington?
Personally, I voted for the man when I lived in Idaho. He seemed to be a decent representative for the ideals I thought were important at the time. I do not believe that whining about unfairness of the charges, after pleading guilty to the charges is conduct becoming of a senator. I would not vote for him again.

The problem with ol' "wide stance" is that he is a hypocrite. Had he not been so adamately and vocally opposed to homosexuals and homosexuality and the same incident happened not much would have been said about it. So the fact that he admitted to being gay is not the issue but the hypocrisy.

He earned the ire of two groups. Republican "family values" voters and gays who hate politicians who actively oppose gay rights but who are gay themselves. Craig took anti-gay positions more extreme than most Republicans. He opposed gays in the military, he opposed equal rights in employment and housing, and he opposed hate crime legislation. He was in favor of the constitutional amendment banning gay marriage.
However, it is the Republican moralists who are trying to kick him out of the Senate before his term is up, even though they support Sen Vitner, a Louisiana Republican who used a prostitute service for kinky sex, had a long term relationship with a New Orleans prostitute and a child out of wedlock.

No--he admitted his guilt while he peaded responsible. Being gay is his employer. Breaking the regulation and being a mendacity hypocrite, besides the shown fact that, is a valid count for voters to evaluate, for the reason that they flow to his loss of well being to serve interior the Senate--or everywhere else.

You know it really would not be so much of an issue if it did not come from the very party that demonizes homosexuality...this is what keeps it on the front burner.
