I have a paper to write in my Women Studies class. It deals about feminism and everything about women but i have a problem. I do not know what to write my paper on.
I need a topic that i can find alot of information on.
It can be about anything that deals with women,

If you are interested in theatre you could write about the situation of actresses in the XIX century in England.
Or to research why most female opera characters die at the end
Other good paper could be about prejudices and stereotypes
Of course, I am telling you about themes that are interesting for me. I wrote an essay for my masters about the first theme, it was very interesting to research

We notice gender difference in the case of horse, dogs but we don’t notice the gender difference in many animals and birds.
But, a large number of animals and birds that live around us know the difference between the males and females of human species.
For example crows, pigeons, wild monkeys, squirrels etc dare more often to come near the females and even steal food from them, compared to men or boys. Even domestic animals like cats and dogs are mellow towards female strangers compared to males.
Mosquitoes and other blood sucking insects bite females more, but that is due to body temperature or something and is out of "behavioral" study of the genders.
Try to find out whether this is true in the part of the world where you live. Many women wear men's cloths and almost appear free like men (from a non domestic animals point of view). Can we still see this preferential treatment of genders?
What may be the reasons? What are the statistics of occurrence? These are some interesting stuff you can study and later tell us about.

Take a look at how women make less then men on jobs and get fewer promotions. In some fields women are pretty rare so you might see if its a problem with gender discrimination in early school years that would cause women not to seek to pursue these careers.

the feminization of poverty are sex trafficking interesting contemporary social issues that have generated a lot of feminist scholarship. There are so many potential topics though. Do you want to do something more contemporary/political or more historical/literary?
