Yes, of course it does,people developed traditions because they had similar life experiences with those around them,I.E., the same enviorment,life styles ect.
Traditions everywhere are fading fast.

Yes of course it does. Especially when one country's traditional cultures are being smothered by another country's cultures which are forced to be accepted upon society.
