Yes, in the 7th grade my english teacher Mrs. Michaels. She use to go around and hit people on the knuckles with a ruler if you went outside of the margin.

Oh yeah it was all about public humiliation at my school if you fell asleep you got slapped with a ruler then had to stand for the rest of the day. You also couldn't go to the bathroom except during the actual bathroom breaks. No matter how much you had to go, I saw so many kids pee there pants b/c the teacher wouldn't let them go to the bathroom SAD SAD SAD.

I went to school in Portugal. I got hit with the ruler on the knuckles a few times and other things. It was pretty sad. They don't anymore. Thank God.

it rather is because of the fact of no baby left in the back of. it rather is occurring in extreme college too. there is a lot tension for little ones to do nicely on the attempt because of the fact if no longer the faculty looses investment and gets positioned on the watch record. instructors are no longer incorporating techniques right into a lesson yet quite coaching to the attempt.

Yup... my grade primary teacher (kindergarten). I started out in this world as a lefty... she, her ruler, and her duct tape cured me of that (she'd tape my left hand to the bottom of my desk).
Nasty woman.

Yes, we also had a big wooden paddle that you got slapped with three times when you were really naughty.
