lol, I agree. It just means they're desperate for answers. Sad, really.
On the other hand though... I have put a link to one of my previous questions when I noticed someone asked the same exact thing. I just wanted them to know the question has been asked before!

I don't know about being used, but I wouldn't do it. Might be the only way they know how to get their question to hit the "LIGHT OF DAY" (for their question to get out) I'm certainly not condoning it, just the only reason I can think they would do something like that.
