Don't you know why the bride always smiles on her wedding day? Cause it's the last BJ she'll have to give.
Seriously, it does fade over time. My believe is that day to day stress erodes it. Also, as mentioned here already, the passion is not there to the same degree. When you're dating you try so hard to get some and make it awesome. Once your married it can become more of a feeling of entitlement. Why try if you know you can get some? I'm sure this is not true for everyone though..

Depends on the marriage and the people involved.
But a long term marriage is probably less likely to have the same amount of sex as a brand new relationship between young horny people.

It has nothing to do with marriage, but a woman's pregnancy and giving birth changes her role in the relationship and can affect the couple's sex life.

In most cases it is the truth. But you have to work on it. My husband and I dont have kids but we have been married for 7 years and we still have sex all the time.

It can't be categorized into two groups like that. It is different for each couple. It hasn't been true in my marriage, but I know people that sex has decreased since they got married.

It depends upon lifestyle, age of the children (if any) and a lot of other factors.
Women who feel taken for granted and who have lost respect for their husbands, are usually the ones who cut the sex right off, and who can blame them? I don't want to have sex with someone who takes me for granted and especially someone i don't respect.
Marriage is a two-way street, and doing the work it takes to keep it together isn't just the woman's responsibility. But in many cases, it might as well be...
just my two cents.

true
and the reason is
women, now feeling secure in a marriage
will see less reason for doing it
and if anything begin to use it as a weapon
and bargaining tool to get what ever they want
where as long time couples who never marry usually have more and better sex lives
as the women fears if she backs off, he'll leave, which is correct

I would say most definitely true. You get all hung up in the day to day dealings of life, work, the kids, the house, the bills.... sex becomes one more chore to be dealt with. it doesnt have to be this way, but to avoid it, the man and woman have to work very hard to try and maintain their physical attraction and connection to one another.

truth. you move in together, around each other all the time, have kids, get stuck the rut of your daily grind, make sacrifices for each other. its not all fun and games once you get married. in real life you don't have time to lay around and do it all day, lol. however, there are a few exceptions I'm sure...
