research TMJ. basically tmj is a condition I have lived with for many years, regular exercise can condition your muscles to not be so sore, but pay attention to if you have stressed your jaw more so than usual, chewing primarily on one side versus the other, or have eaten any different foods than the norm enough sleep? if you still have alot of noticeable pops or pain seek an dentist for a pan scan

This happens when you are tense you grind your teeth. Most people do it while sleeping. It makes for a sore jaw. Taske some Advil or Motrin and if it keeps happenning, you might need a mouth-guard while you sleep to prevent this.
