LOL i agree with the first answer, older people are always saying: "I remember back in '82 we didn't have stuck up women"....blah blah.... you shouldn't listen to those people that say girls are less nice...cuz you can only be the judge of that!

In general, I believe in former generations being nice was a girl's job. Today women have to have other jobs to survive, just being nice is not a job anymore.
When you hear people making certain remarks, you have to put it in a context. Who is saying something, about whom. Is this person capable of making objective and valuable remarks about the present and the past. Or is this just a resentment of the person saying this. A quote often reflects the author. As not being part of the younger generation, the author might not be able to judge it from an insiders point of view. The comment might not have to do anything with your life or the present generation's life.

Hi,
I am 45 and Yes things have changed over the years. Girls/Women in general have started to mature at an earlier age, times have changed, there is more violence, drugs and violence in todays world. The innocence of the past is almost a thing of the past. You are fortunate to have found a nice girl. I'm sure she appreciates you as well. Not all girls are mean spirited and hard , but some are and it's due to the environment they've grown up in.
I live in the City and the young girls here can be
very loud, mean and downright scary at times.

People in general are different than they used to be in previous generations. It's true that girls are less niave and less dependent than they used to be. Girls no longer have to kiss up to men in order to do well in life. Some men may feel threatened by this because they can no longer dominate women.
Lucky for you, you and your girlfriend probably have a healthy relationship.

LOL @ the older generation comment. Umm, yeah, I think the internet and the Paris's of the world has a lot to do with girls being a little meaner these days. But you know, I was kinda mean when I was in J.H. & H.S., and I'm a much nicer adult. I'm glad your GF is a sweetheart, hold on to her :)

Unfortunately, in this day and age females are less nice than back in the days of June Clever. Here is what I think why...because back then women were basically seen and not heard. Yes sir no sis thank you sir, here's your martini. Now, women are not accepting the "bow down before your ruler" attitude from men, so therefore we are not as "nice" as we used to be. The statement should be- "women are not as submissive as they used to be". Darn Right! :)

i think it's because there are more labels now like emo and prep and shi.t like that. i think that older people see or hear about 1 teenager doing something bad and that goes for alll girls which isn't fair cause like your girlfriend there are some really sweet girls still

on the outside, yeah, its kinda good that people can be rude sometimes
100 years ago , people mostly couldn't , especially women and kids
on the nside , they are the same, less need to keep the naughtines secret anymore I think, at least on the coasts

Seems to me, that everyone is "less nice" that they used to be. Manners is just a thing of the past, I'm afraid.

extremely it relies upon on the guy, and the comparable may well be reported approximately us adult adult males from a women attitude yet.. some tend to be "much less advantageous" via fact they understand that they are "eye-catching" and that they are in a position to get buddies any time, and that some human beings will consistently desire to be their buddies via fact they're "in" and eye-catching. basically the thots off the best of my head.
