If you dropped it, dropped something on it, or hit it with something, I'm affraid it won't be covered.

But if the crack is a result of a manufacturing or product defect, then yes it would be covered. And then ONLY if the warranty has not expired. One year warranty? Or 90 day?

no it wont be covered. UNLESS you it is still under warranty (told how long that would be on manual). Apple would be glad to fix it.

Always report anything that goes wrong and let them tell you if it's not covered.

That said, unfortunately, physical damage is usually not covered.
